Hey Adventurers! I have been dealing with some intense health issues and have really struggled with getting the things done that I have wanted to do. On top of that, my most recent read has been very heavy, so it was quite difficult to get through. Thanks for being patient with me; you’re the best! But I will finally be posting my review, and as long as my technology doesn’t fail me, you should see it by the end of the day. Hope you enjoy! -Cozie

Happy Belated New Year adventurers!! Last year on the blog was very quiet. I had a lot going on and needed to focus elsewhere. But this year we are back in action! I am already reading a book that I hope to review by this weekend (a crime drama – my first one)! On top of that, I am watching the series based on Octavia Butler’s Kindred, and I will be doing a comparison of the two. I can’t wait to talk about that!

As a Christian and an artist/critic, I would like to both open people up to the art available in the world and also protect people, especially children, from being blindsided by unexpected content that they might not be ready for. To help with that, I have decided to add a Family Friendly Content Considerations section to the end of each review where I will note anything that a person of faith or a parent looking to guide their child’s reading might want to look out for. I hope this will make everyone, Christian or not, feel welcome to read the reviews and decide for themselves what books they would like to try.
